Antares Dressage hosted the second in their series of six shows for 2008 on Saturday the 12th.  It was a beautiful spring day in Pinehurst, North Carolina with the dogwoods in full bloom and a great turnout with some very nice dressage horses.   All but the last two riders escaped the sprinkles that followed later in the afternoon.  Kris Hamilton was the judge.

The first class of the day started with the eventing dressage classes and Beginner Novice Test A with Jeanette Van Mill riding Huey for a winning score of -35.263. Anne Huberth, riding Rough Cut, came in second with -38.947.  The next class was Novice A with the winning ride going to Judy Bodnar riding Good time Joey receiving a score of -33.000.  Sandra Huberth rode Stark Naked for a close second place finish and a score of -33.500.  Beginner Novice Test B's class win went to Jeanette Van Mill riding Huey with -36.000.  The winner of Novice B was also Jeanette Van Mill riding another horse Midnight Express scoring -41.052.  Dorothee Jenssen from New York brought two horses to ride the Training Level Test A winning on Red Badge with -42.550.

In the dressage classes, Nan Pieroni riding Katz won Into with 65.741%.  Leah Martin won Training Level Test 1 on her
mare Godiva D with a 62.173%.  The Training Level Test 2 class win went to Beth Roy on Aslan with 66.428%.  Training Level Tests 3 and 4 were combined with Alison Unite of  St Andrews riding the horse Leggs with a 69.200% in a big class of nine horses.  First Level Test 1 and 2 were won by Karn Hillard riding Double Jet Down with 66.000% and 65.555% respectively.  First Level Test 4 was a tie between Peter
Nordlander riding Glass Slipper and Andrea Ruting riding Trigger both scoring 66.842%.  Second and third levels were combined with Peter Nordlander winning the class on Domani with a 68.684%.
